WHAT IS EVOLUTION?
Evolution is not the change in a single organism, but a species, over many generations of time. The theory of evolution states that, organisms change over time, all living things share a common ancestor so we are all related, new species grow and come from existing species through gradual change, lastly the mechanism for evoluiton is natural selection. Most evidence shows that we have also evolved, from primates.
WHAT EVIDENCE IS THERE FOR EVOLUTION?
Evidence for Evolution is, Embryos, Vestigial structures, Similar bone structure, dna Interpretation compare, Adaption, species, and Natural selection. Just to explain how these terms relate to evolution or are evidence for evolution, Embryos are similarities in embryos show that the embryos are related so they must share a common ancestor. Vestigial structures are structures that no longer are of use to the organism (An example of this is the Tailbone in humans). Embryos show that they are related and must share a common ancestor.
DNA Interpretation Compare shows that the more 2 organisms DNA is related the more the 2 orgaisms are related.
DNA Interpretation Compare shows that the more 2 organisms DNA is related the more the 2 orgaisms are related.
Why does Evolution matter to our lives now?Evolution matters to our lives now because evolution happens everyday in our lives. A example of this is tuberculosis a deadly disease. We may not know it but we are a huge part of this disease's evolution. The antibiotics that we take make the decision of which microbes survive, the good or bad. Tubeculosis lives in side of many people and some of the bacteria that tuberculosis is made of are not affected by antibiotics. So if you do not take the necessary antibiotics then the disease will survive to reproduce, then evolve. And as it evolves it may become immune to antibiotics all together. So if you didn't understand evolution we would not survive, because as we all know, our very survival depends on understanding Evolution. That's why evolution matters to our lives now.
